Display Village is set up as a convenient one-stop-shop for people wanting to spend minimum time and to have no fuss in the process of building a family home, a teenage studio, a granny flat or B&B. You’ll find 5 cabins and 2 granny flats built and fully furnished using different materials and colour schemes to show different options available. We have a third granny flat built to lockup stage and available for viewing, please see below the designs.

What you’ll find at our display village

Across the village, five cabins and three granny flats have been built for display, and each has been styled with their own colour scheme and furnishings, demonstrating the design possibilities and showcasing how the finished product comes together. For the builders interested in joining YZY Kit Homes network, the YZY team will also be on hand, to discuss how we work with builders and the many benefits our system can bring (available by appointment only).

Iceland 2 bedroom

The 2-bedroom Iceland is a popular choice for those looking for a contemporary granny flat, teenager’s retreat or B&B accommodation option. After the foundation is ready for the build, this 80m² granny flat can be constructed in just 4 days, and like all of our designs, comes with plenty of options for homeowners to customise the design to suit their needs.

Rhodes 2 bedroom

Featuring the classic Australian veranda out front, the 2-bedroom Rhodes design looks right at home in rural locations, or in established urban areas amongst other character homes. At 78m² it’s the right size for a granny flat, teenager’s retreat or for short or long-term accommodation to earn an additional income. Best of all, it can be built to the lockup stage on site in just 4 days!

Madeira 2 bedroom

Our beautiful Madeira 2 bedroom was added to our Display Village in 2021. It is now built to lockup stage and now waiting to be completed to turnkey stage. It is ideal for a larger block as it’s total size is 90 m² with a sizable veranda taking up one third of the building envelope.

Sicilia Panorama 30

The versatile 1-bedroom Sicilia Panorama 30 is a perfect fit for a range of situations – from a pool house or home office, to a guest house or a teenager (or parents’) retreat. This sleek, modern design can be assembled on site on a prepared level base in just 2 days.

Skyros 19

The bright, airy and modern Skyros 19 is the ideal solution for clients looking for a pool house, artist’s studio or home office. Plus, with a total floor space of less than 20m², it may be built without council permission in NSW and can be assembled in just 1–2 days.

Corsica Panorama 18

For those looking for a spacious 1-room backyard cabin, it’s hard to go past the Corsica Panorama 18. The design is a great choice for a guest room, teenage retreat, pool house, home office, creative studio, games room … the list goes on! And being less than 20m², it can be assembled in 1 day on a prepared level base, and no council permission is required when built in NSW as a pool cabana.

Milos 14 studio

The sleek, modern styling of the Milos 14 cabin looks right at home in almost any setting. It’s ideal as a hobby room, studio or poolside retreat. No council permission is required to build a pool cabana in NSW, and once the prepared level base is ready, it can be assembled on site in just 1 day!

Crete Panorama 10

The combination of classic panorama windows and doors, alongside the timber styling allows the Crete Panorama 10 to blend seamlessly into any backyard space. Perfectly suited to a stylish home office, studio, retreat or pool house, it can be assembled onto a prepared flat base in just 1 day. On top of this, due to its smaller size it can be built as a shed or pool cabana without council permission in the ACT, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
