When Amy and Mark were looking to extend the space of their Brisbane home to accommodate growing teenagers, they found a customised version of our Sicilia Panorama 30 cabin ticked all the right boxes. With only a tight space available, the flexibility of the design allowed it to be altered to fit, with bi-fold doors opening out to a basketball court, lawns and gardens.

When David wanted to build a poolside studio to extend the space in the family home, our backyard cabins proved ideal.
Set in an elevated position, our cabin looks right at home in the gorgeous tropical setting in Mount Gravatt, Queensland. With the daily chores and upkeep of her existing home starting to become difficult to manage, Oliver began looking at alternative living options for his mum. They fell in love with our energy efficient granny flats, and decided to build the one-bedroom Madeira in the backyard of the existing family home.

Over the past two years we’ve faced many challenges as we learn to live with the pandemic. Recently, the developments in Ukraine have also concerned us deeply, and we are actively supporting organisations who are on the ground helping those impacted through the donation of funds.
As these world events occur, we’re working hard behind the scenes to minimise disruptions and delays. Currently, most of our standard cabins are available and ready for dispatch. There is no disruption to manufacturing and supply of YZY Kit Homes due to Russia’s assault on Ukraine. Our timber is sourced from Northern Europe, with our factory located in the NATO zone. No shipments are travelling through the war zone.
